Community Guidelines
Last updated: 9 October 2026
LINKA is for friendship, networking and community. These guidelines keep it a place people want to be.
Be respectful
Treat people the way you would in person. Disagree kindly and take no for an answer.
No harassment
No threats, bullying, stalking, unwanted sexual messages or repeated contact after someone has said no or blocked you.
No hate speech
No content that attacks people for their race, ethnicity, religion, gender, sexual orientation, disability or any other protected trait.
No spam or selling in DMs
Don’t use messages for advertising, recruitment schemes, chain messages or unsolicited sales. Venues and organizers promote through their listings.
Be who you say you are
No fake profiles, impersonation, misleading photos or false claims about yourself, your business or your events.
Meet safely
- Meet in public places, and tell a friend where you’re going.
- Arrange your own transport and keep your phone charged.
- Never send money to someone you haven’t met.
- See our Safety page for emergency numbers.
Report and block
Use Report or Block on any profile or message. Reports are confidential and reviewed by our team.
